Pitching event for StartUp School investor network

startuppitching7_1000x750StartUp School organized on 2 December 2014 a pitching event, where chosen StartUp School students pitched their cases to SUS mentor and investor network. Each team had three minutes to pitch, after which mentors, investors and other students were asking questions and giving feedback.

StartUp School Program Manager Tommo Koivusalo opened the event talking about the importance of creating networks.

– You have to be open about your idea in order to get help. It’s also important to show confidence when you pitch and believe in your idea.

Four student cases were presented: Speakeasy Brothers, TripAhead, Ansa Production, and FoodFinder. The public even got to taste Speakeasy Brothers’ special beer and snacks.

After the pitches, the students and the investors stayed for a long time to talk and network.
