Learning about crowdfunding with Invesdor in StartUp School

!IMG_9470mHaaga-Helia StartUp School and Invesdor, a leading Northern European crowdfunding platform, arranged a crowdfunding workshop programme 29.1. – 12.2.2015 for students who were interested in learning about crowfunding, finance and startups.

The Invesdor Student Ambassador Programme consisted of two workshops:

In the first workshop 29.1. the participating students got an overview of the crowdfounding industry and Invesdor platform was introduced. After that they started to work on their business idea on Invesdor platform and create a pitch. They had two weeks to arrange their own crowdfunding campaigns.

In the second workshop 12.2. the students presented their work to a panel of judges and their crowdfouning pitches and campaigns were evaluated.

There were six pitches presented: FoodFinder.fi, Paestum, Stupid Stupid Games, FoodKit, Arvotuotanto and Datmachine.

The winner of the programme was Paestum, that provides English language services.
Paestum won 500 euros for production costs of a marketing film.
Second place winner, Stupid Stupid Games, won a 50% discount for Invesdor service.
Judges pick was a company that produces films, Arvotuotanto.
