The Leadership & Strategy Special Interest Group panel discussion
According to an article from Forbes published on Nov 14, 2019, the EU is still 61 years away from gender parity. Women represent only 15.4% of general managers, 30.4% of managers, and 36.3% of MEPs in the European Parliament.
The same article highlights that, by 2050, the EU could increase their per capita GDP by 6.1 to 9.6% should they choose to invest in gender equity. That’s between double to triple the size of Apple’s entire market capitalization. Gender equity in the workforce could help create 10.5 million jobs by 2050.
There are more and more voices calling for more women leaders. We cannot ignore them. The recent election of the US Vice-President, Kamala Harris, is a strong move pushing into that direction.
We thought that we’d add our contribution too.
- Why do businesses need more female leaders?
- What do women bring that make a difference in a work place?
2 of the questions that our guests speakers will answer during a special online panel discussion “Why We Need More Female Leaders”.
Join us online on 16 March and ask your most intriguing leadership questions straight from our panelists:
